Every heart is a package tangled up in knots someone else tied (color coordinating + book haul)

Reorganised my book shelf, once again. i do this way too often, simply because i can't decide what i like best. Last time the books were organised by genre, now by color. this is visually pleasing, sure, but soon enough i'll go crazy by the fact that books that should be togehter, aren't. (like all the Gatsby's or John Green books or poem collections etc.) but right now, i like it like this. also, here's a little books haul. might be the last one for a while. i've been buying books faster than i can read them and i want to catch up a little. also i need to save some money. i have pretty neat summer plans (like a trip to Dublin for a small vacation and Josh Ritter concert!) so i can't spend so much money on books. anyway, here are the books i've bought recently:

Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Anne Fowler
This is what i'm currently reading, and it's been pretty great so far. it's no secret i love F. Scott Fitzgerald, but i also love his wife Zelda and their amazing, yet tragic Love story. i find it really interesting. This is not a biography, but a fictionalised story of Zelda Fitzgerald as Zelda herself might have told it.

Bright's Passage by Josh Ritter
Josh Ritter is my favorite musician of all time, i'm sort of in love with him, so i am really excited to read his first novel. i've been meaning to buy it for a while and now i finally did. Josh Ritter's songs are often like epic stories and he is a storyteller first, a musician second, so i expecting a lot from this.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
i already read this book and absolutely loved it. it's one of the best book i've ever read. you can read my full review of it here.

The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
i've heard a lot of good things about this one and i am really in a mood for great YA literature, so i hope this is as good as people say it is. i'll probably read it next

what books are you currently reading?

  1. I always love seeing your book hauls because it helps me find new things I might want to read. :)

    1. i like how it looks and i try not to think about the fact that certain books (book series, books by same author, books in same genre) are not together because that kind of annoys me :D.

  3. Reading Possession by A.S. Byatt. Great book.
