i've been living in my new apartment for a month and a half now. i've been starting to read for pleasure again. i'm going out almost every week. i feel at home, here, in this house, by the river. but also at the university, with my new friends. walking these streets and watching autumn paint this city. i turned 26 today. i sleep better than i have in years. i'm starting to find a balance. i'm mostly happy. i'm going to start blogging again. i miss snow. i'm making plans for my second year of doing NaNoWriMo. i have my very first exam next wednesday. most nights i can see the moon from my window, but not the stars.
