it sure was an interesting Christmas, this one! the Eve & Christmas Day i spent with my family, as always. mostly hanging out with my sisters kids who went sort of crazy from all the exitement! i got some really nice presents and ate too much. on Boxing Day we had a blackout that lasted good 36 hours! well, that's probably nothing new to some of you, who are used to extreme weather and struggle with Mother Nature all the time, but for us, this kind of storm that we had, that caused to blackout, is quite rare. i almost felt like crying cause Boxing Day for me is Smithmas! the day when i watch Doctor Who Christmas Special with my best friend, even tho we are miles apart. and i know this sounds a little petty and silly, but remember that i'm a huge nerd! well, it sure was aChristmas to remember. so i soent the whole day in bed, reading Stieg Larsson's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in candle light. it ended up being quite nice (tho that book is disturbing! reading it in the dark is not the best idea...) tho i was so happy to get the electricity back. it sure is true, that you appreciate things more, after you've lost them.

- A polar bear thingie to remove ice from car windows!
